From Fallen Trees to Family Fires

Every good story starts somewhere—and ours started right here in Crossville, Tennessee, with family, a little hard work, and a whole lot of firewood.

We’re a small, family-owned farm native to Crossville, and our journey into the firewood business was never really part of the plan. We were simply working alongside our grandpa, affectionately known to everyone as Pop, learning the old-fashioned secrets of farming and taking care of the land.

Over the years, storms, age, and Mother Nature took their toll, leaving us with trees scattered across the farm. We decided to put those areas to good use, clearing the land to create more pasture. But there was one small problem—we suddenly had a whole lot of firewood!

What started as a way to clean up the farm quickly turned into something much bigger. Friends and neighbors began asking if they could buy some of our firewood, and before we knew it, our little side project had become a family business.

We’ve been blessed to serve our neighbors throughout Cumberland County and, as word spread, families in communities well beyond it. Today, we’re proud to share the warmth of a good fire with even more people.

Whether you’re gathering around a firepit with family and friends, enjoying a quiet evening by the fire, or relying on firewood to keep your home warm, we love knowing that a little piece of our family farm is helping make those moments possible.

Most of all, we love what we do because of who we get to do it for—our customers. Every delivery, every conversation, and every new customer has become part of our story.

What began with Pop, a few fallen trees, and a plan to clear some pasture has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of: a family business built around hard work, good people, and the simple joy of a warm fire.
